Frank's Fly Fishing Adventures is all about sharing adventures with other fly fishing adventurers.
FFFAdventures, as a service, is dedicated to bringing affordable fly fishing trips to the budget minded and adventurous angler.
I am not associated with a lodge, and do not have the price tag associated with a lodge either. If you would like to go to places such as Alaska's Kodiak Island, Situk River, Lake Illiamna or the Kenai Peninsula to chase salmon, steelhead and char, and have a budget that you must stick with, then let me try to help you get your trip of a lifetime on a realistic budget.
For the even more budget minded adventurers, there are closer places to go to, to chase our favorite fishes such as the Pacific Northwest to chase steelhead and salmon, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah or Montana for trout, bass, pike or carp!
I also provide custom tied flies for those with particular tastes and needs. If you come by the Fly Fishing Show in Denver or the West Denver TU Fly Tying Clinic, the ISE in Denver or THe Western Colorado Fly Fishing Expo you will be able to see the flies I tie. Please send me an email with types of flies you like and we can go from there. Since all flies have differing costs, and can be affected by the style of hook you would like me to tie them on, I will quote you on your specific order, type and style. I do a lot of articulated streamer patterns that are very difficult to find in fly shops, or even via online catalog ordering. I also ensure the highest quality components and stand by my work!
Fly Fishing Adventure packages start at $200 per day for a standard wade fishing trip, but rarely exceed $400. It all depends on which destination you would like to take part in and what it will take to get there.

This web site is brand new. Launched on 12/31/10, through much encouragement from friends and family, so please bear with me.
Something new for Kodiak and the Karluk River Fly Fishing Adventures!
There is going to be a new Kodiak Brown Bear Center on Kodiak Island and on the Karluk River. The Center will be located on Karluk Lake, which is on the upper stretches of the Karluk River. Find more info here: http://www.kodiakbearcenter.com/
As it turns out, the Karluk River Drainage has the highest number of Brown Bears in the world and is more special than I even realized. This is one of the reasons this particular trip is so special and the abundance of food is why the bears are so densely populated and so very uninterested in the humans that visit. Take a read on the web site and then get in touch with me and I will take you there so you can see for yourself!
This seems like a very nice place to visit as well. With me, we will focus on fishing, fishing and more fishing. The bears will be there for us every morning, noon and evening. There are always sows with cubs and so many adults, you might think we were in a zoo, but they are wild and free and you will experience them as never before and catch tons of salmon, steelhead, Dolly Varden and Char to your heart desires!
